At a glance
- What is a tummy tuck with lipo 360? A combination of two procedures: a tummy tuck to remove loose skin and repair the abdominal muscles, and liposuction of the abdomen, flanks and lower back to refine the waist all the way round.
- Who is it for? People with loose skin on the abdomen, often after pregnancy or weight loss, and stubborn fat on the flanks and back, while the skin on the back remains firm.
- Is it the same as a 360 tummy tuck? No. The 360 tummy tuck is a circular abdominoplasty that removes loose skin all around the waist, mostly after major weight loss.
- How much does it cost in Turkey? At Aram Clinic, a tummy tuck combined with liposuction costs €3,000 to €4,000 in an all-inclusive package, depending on the areas treated.
- How long should I stay in Turkey? Around seven to ten days, an estimate your surgeon confirms according to the procedure and how you heal.
A tummy tuck alone flattens the front of the stomach, but it does not treat the fat on the flanks and the lower back. That is why many patients combine it with lipo 360, a liposuction performed all around the waist. The result is a flatter abdomen and a more defined waistline, seen from every angle, in a single operation.
Two procedures, one result
The tummy tuck in Turkey removes the loose skin of the lower abdomen and, when needed, repairs the separated abdominal muscles (diastasis). Lipo 360 then removes the fat from the abdomen, the flanks and the lower back, the areas that diet and exercise struggle to change.
| Procedure | What it does |
|---|---|
| Tummy tuck | Removes loose skin at the front, repairs the muscles, repositions the navel |
| Lipo 360 | Removes fat from the abdomen, flanks and lower back |
| Combined | Flat stomach, narrower waist and a smoother back line |
Depending on your body, the liposuction can be classic, Vaser liposuction or HD liposuction for more definition; see also our page on liposuction in Turkey.
The tummy tuck tightens, lipo 360 sculpts: together they treat the whole midsection.
Who is it for?
- After pregnancy: loose skin, separated muscles and stubborn fat on the hips. It is also a core part of the mommy makeover in Turkey.
- After moderate weight loss: loose skin at the front, fat remaining on the flanks.
- Stable weight: close to your goal, ideally for several months.
- Firm skin on the back: if the back skin is also loose, a circular abdominoplasty may be more suitable.
Not to be confused with the 360 tummy tuck
“Tummy tuck 360” can mean two things. A tummy tuck with lipo 360 removes fat all around the waist; the 360 tummy tuck, or circular abdominoplasty, removes loose skin all around the waist, with a scar that goes around the body. The latter is mostly performed after major weight loss.
Recovery
- First days: swelling, bruising and tightness, managed with painkillers.
- Compression garment: worn for several weeks to support the skin and reduce swelling.
- Return to activity: walking from the first day, light work after two to three weeks, sport after about six weeks, with your surgeon’s agreement.
- Final result: visible gradually, once the swelling has gone, over several months.
